High increase of escort services in India in the past 15 years

There are a lot of different features that all escort girls have: they come from extremely needy families, they are incest victims or were involved in some other kinds of sexual or domestic violence. In India you can meet people from low caste – they were trafficked because of their vulnerability and poverty. Also one of the important things is that the government was denying prioritizing this problem as an issue, because the majority of the affected were not men. In other countries, people try to solve this problem. In Cambodia, there is a minister who has taken this issue on as an own one. Philippines government has created a pretty effective law escort service. According to the laws in Sweden, Iceland, Norway, the purchase of sex considers as criminal. But in India, it is a blind spot.

In India, escorts are everywhere. Even in small villages, there are lots of brothels. In the past 15 years among whole India, the escort services have grown by 17 times. In Murshidabad, there are even some parts, where boys and girls are being trafficked everywhere from every house. There  is the same problem on the Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh borders.

Different organizations have been trying to change the law for 10 years in India. According to CBI statistics, there are 3 000 000 escorts and the numbers are growing every day. Even police do nothing with this problem, though they know what happens. Some of the girls are kept naked and starved in houses under beds and some of them were taken to the brothel. However serious this problem is, even exalted people, such as Sonia Gandhi, Vilasrao Deshmukh or Mukul Vasnik, cannot do at least something to solve it.
